Hybrid Akali - Why she kicks face.

Basically, hybrid akali doesn't focus only on AP, but mixes AP and AD, also with alittle bit of survivabillty. If you don't know Akali's abillities, look them up before you read this guide or you might not understand much.

For hybrid akali I use a Full Attack speed runepage. This configuration allows me to be deadly in early game, aswell as farm much better in lategame. Eventually I end up with 1.5 hits per second, which combined with her Q and R makes her extremly deadly, as you'll see in abit.

My masteries are 21/8/1, as follows:




As you can see I take buffed ghost, and my other summoner spell is ignite, for finishing off targets.



My Skill build is fairly simple. It complements your early game farming aswell as your damage output, and also allows you to escape ganks well:

Q-E-Q-W-Q-R-Q-E-Q-E-R-E-E-W-W-R-W-W.

I level Q first because it's your main harassing/last hitting skill. It does 50 damage per hit, and if you hit the target physically afterwards it deals another 50 damage + your phy damage. It's amazinglly useful when laning because your opponents will be more weary of engaging you while they're marked.

Your E is your main farming skill so it's your secondary one in leveling. You obviously need your W for escaping, but also for scaring your enemies. You can pop the W ahead of you and become stealthed, throwing Marks at them every now and then. It's a great demoralizing tool. You can also use your W to save teammates, or slow down the enemy minions pushing.


Your ulti is awesome, nuff said. While bursting down your target though, don't spam it. Only use it if he gets out of range. Since you're a hybrid, your physical attack should deal a big amount of damage combined with your Q and E.




My item build is actually kinda wierd, since I don't pop either of her passives at the beggining. Rather, I prefer being able to survive.

I start with a doran's shield and a health pot, so that the enemy can't just eliminate my presence in lane. Zoning out a 600 HP akali is much harder than a 500 HP one with 10 more AD

My item build is as follows:

Doran's Shield
Boots of Speed -> Merc Treads (To survive CC and semi full focus from the enemy team)
Longsword -> Phage
Amp Tone -> Hextech Revolver -> Gunblade (more spellvamp)
Phage, Zeal -> Trinity Force
Blasting Wand, Giant's Belt -> Riyalis' Crystal Scepter (awesome slow from Q and R)
Blasting Wand -> Guinsoo's Rageblade
Sell Doran's Shield, Buy NLR -> Deathcap.

You should probably win by the time you get Riyalis, unless you have stuborn opponents.

nah, timing is all that matters. Everyone can deal insane damage with her, but you have to know when to engage and when to keep away.
It is mostly practice.

And learn to use Twillight Shroud as it is the key to avoiding many horrible deaths

personaly dont find rolling my face on the keyboard and someone dying, or i jsut dont like the move graphic for akali.
