The Yeti Guide.
(Insert nunubot punn here).
Moving on <.<.
This is a guide for playing nunu is a laner. It's viable (so far) in the 1300-1400 ELO solo queue ranked range, and probably below that aswell (lucky for me I haven't had the chance to find out).
Runes:
Standart tanks runes:
Magic Pen reds
Dodge Yellows
Mres per level Glyphs
Flat HP quints.
Masteries would be: Mres 3, Armor 3, Dodge 4, Phy reduction 3, Scars 4, Ardor 3, Tenacity 1, standard caster 9.
Your Skill build:
Level 1: Ice Blast - A pain in the ass for your opponent.
Level 2: Consume - Helps you stay in lane.
At this point I always level those, I don't raise bloodboil untill 13, but that's just my playstyle. I find it to be mana-burning and rather pointless before big team fights. Ofcourse, max Iceblast first and raise your ult whenever you can.
Item build:
I go ruby crystal -> catalyst -> Rod of ages, merc treads, Banshee's veil, and the other 3 depending on the match.
If it's caster heavy, Force of nature+Abyssal scepter, and then a sunfire cape.
If it's DPS heavy, Thornmail, Sunfire and THEN abyssal scepter.
With this item build you SHOULD have about 3200 HP and 200~ armor and mres, and your AoE should hit like a truck loaded with... trucks. Yeah I said it, double stacked trucks. Eat that, other heavy transport veichels.
General tactic:
I know alot of people promote last hitting, but the thing about Nunu is that his passive is basically free mana as long as you auto-hit enough. With a low base damage, you should try and get 3-4 hits on every minion so that you can spam ice blast/consume freely.
During team-fights, try ofc giving Blood-Boil to your AD carry, and rush into the middle of the fray and pop your ult. This is ofc within reason, i'm not saying rush smack-dab into the middle of 5 tanks screaming sparta and dieing 3 seconds later.
Good luck and happy nunu-ing!

Nice tanky guide.
I like it, its how I play him when doing tank.
Sometimes for the Lulz I make AP/HP and do 2k damage with the util hehe
Good job.

Re: The Yeti Guide.
Good guide but as a jungler I`m interested in if you jungle with Nunu or do you find jungle Nunu viable? and does your jungle Nunu differ from this build at any non obvious was (consume + smite ofc)?
I tend to at least put a piont in bloodboil early getting 1 point in each ability at least at lvl 5. The speed buff it gives makes you able to delay your boots for something else.

Re: The Yeti Guide.
^I actually tested him as a jungler once or twice but I lack the expertise to make a guide about it. It works but it's not as fast as WW/Udyr/Olaf.
Like you said you take Consume and Smite, plus a cloth armor with 5 HP pots. If you're building a jungle nunu bare in mind one of your items will become a Randuin's omen, so build the cloth armor into Heart of Gold.
