Backdooring

So, I was playing a normal game, triple queue. We all did really well early game, except kinda for my lane because we didn't get three kills because of Katarina's stupid teleport and Twitch's spammable stealth.

Bought a vision ward and Twitch changed lanes immediately, that's okay.

We simply did really well and our KD was like 2-1, but mid-late game, this happened.

Katarina was pushing bot and that was okay, we had someone there to handle them, but apparently twitch was there too, killed the inhibitor and the turret before we could react.

Around 2-3 of us recalled because of that, not big of a problem.

Then, Vlad, Caitlyn put a ward in Baron, Twitch and Yi teleported to that ward and killed it before our Junglaf could get there.

We couldn't make a move because of the fear that we could get backdoor'd anytime.

So yeah, we lost to two backdoorers even with perfect early game and quite decent mid game.

backdooring is an art! :p

sounds like they farmed a lot or got quite fed on the way, or this mightnot have happened.

Dunno about Yi but Twitch got harassed alot while he was in my lane.

Really sucked living with the constant fear that twitch might put a ward near our turrets and get quite some people there - I wonder how a teleport team would work.

They work nicely. Lost to teams with 4-6 teleports (including ults) and 2 fortifies. They play very very very defensively, until someone of your team fucks up then attacks. Rinse and repeat.

Tends to be very long games as your team will now turtle somewhat. <.<

Playing overly defensive., Making the game really boring.

only tried to face one of these teams once, when me and my friend were doing a full pre-made normal.

all of the got Teleport except TF, and one in each lane had a ward from the start. They began teamfights early, by putting a ward in the bush at our side, the rest of the team except TF ofc, only when he had his ulti, would then teleport to the ward and gank the shit out of the lane. we caught the sent of it right at the start, so we were pretty defensiv, so it only happened af few times succesfully. And we would have lost big time if our best player hadn't been Pantheon
It ended with only our nexus left, but our kassadin and taric stayed at base at all times and defended, while the rest of us pushed
we ended up winning because they had no chance of getting the same amount of items as we could when we killed whenever they tried to backdoor

It works wonders, as you really need some siege champions (ie kog'maw) to do much about it. But you can't really counterpick in such terms, as you can't see their summoner spells nor mindset.
